Notice about the refund of money and definitive stamps for the automatic stamp vending machines

According to the rules currently in effect for automatic stamp vending machines, each customer can use up to 20 coins for each transaction, up to the maximum amount of 100 patacas.

Taking into account the need to facilitate the purchase of label stamps by citizens, Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) informs that, starting from 1st July, the maximum value of each label stamp purchase transaction via “Macau Pass” will be 100 patacas. In case of failure of the machines during purchase, the following provisions will be adopted:

  1. Customers should inform CTT through the following procedure:

    a) Fill in the electronic form for the automatic stamp vending machines, available on the website of CTT (http://www.ctt.gov.mo/macaupost/contents/eForm.aspx) and send it to the following email address: mepf@ctt.gov.mo;

    b) The respective forms can also be obtained at the counters of the General Post Office and other postal branch offices; after filling in the form, it can be submitted directly at the counters;

  1. The maximum amount of money to be claimed by each customer is MOP 100 per day;
  2. If customers require an amount greater than 100 patacas per day, the claimed amount will be refunded to customers in its entirety in definitive stamps.
